Throughout the night continuous firing was kept up in honour of the acceptance of the military and ecclesiastical demands. An infuriated crowd yesterday completely wrecked the printing offices of Shuraiumnict and Tanin. Troops prevented the stornrlnft of the Hiihliouse of the Union and Progress Committee. A battalion of troops marched to Yildiz Kiosk and cheered the Sultan, who appeared at a window and informed them that their demands had been accepted. He advised them to remain (|iiiet and eolilldent. The mutineers have since stopped the continuous discharge of musketry, and are reluming to barracks. The difficulty of the situation ia the troops' extreme antipathy towards t«e expelled officers, who had lately neglected their duties and engaged in political wire-pulling. The Cabinet, composed of elements outside the parliamentary parties, is regarded as transitory, leading to Kramil Pasha's return. Only Edhcm's courageous interview with the mutineers persuaded them to accept Tewfik temporarily aa Premier. The second army corps at Adrianople declared in favor' of n revolution. The Adrianople branch of the Committee of Union has dissolved.
