FARM AND DAIRY.
NEW ZEALAND BUTTER. The following paragraph appears in the last issue to haneJ of the Crocer, the leading trade publication of London: "The quality of New Zealand butter coming is very inferior to that of tins time last year; many of the larger buyers prefer the host brands of Victorian to the average New Zealand." This is further confirmation of our contention that the water-logging of New Zealand butter would have the effect of reducing its commercial value, but the effect has come sooner than we anticipated.—Wellington Times.
