RAHOTC. (From Our Own Correspondent). The Hall Bazaar was concluded on Monday evening after a very successful five days' proceedings, in spite of unfavorable weather. The sum of £414 was taben, which, it is expected, will give a. profit of about 76300, and the committee naturally feel .pleased at the success of their efforts and also at the solid support they have received from the public of Rahotu and district. During the bazaar several competitions were held, with the following result's:—Ladies' shooting, Miss I). Condon; ladies' nail-driving. Mrs. Sefton; hat-trimming. Mr. L. Des Forges. In my last report I omitted to mention Mrs. Robertson among the .siallholders.

A committee meeting is to oe hold on Tuesday evening next, when the bal-ance-sheet will be pre-euted in connection with the bazaar. It is also intended to hold a plain and fancy dress ball i" aid of the Hall on Friday. 23rd April. Mr. and Mrs. T. F.'llughsou, who have been away from Kahotu on a holiday, returned home last Tuesday. Another shooting competition took place at the Kahotu range on Saturday for the trophy presented by the club. The conditions wen', seven shots at 200 and 300 vards. and the winner turned up in J. F. Shepherd, who scored 60 oil' the gun, making, with a handicap of 707. F. Gov. „f Knponga, who <lid su well at Treulham. also shot, .lie scor.'d 30 at 201) yards, but only 25 at 300. The conditions were not altogether favorable for good shooting. Scores: 200 300 Hep.
