The ollicci's of the steamer Yeddn, 'which arrived from San Francisco via Samoa yesterday, state that native affairs in'the Herman territory are quiet. There were three Herman warships at Apia, and several native chiefs who had ■been inciting the natives to rebel against (ienuaii authority had been arrested In ■marines and placed aboard the warships, awaiting transport to one of the oiillying islands. The admiral was communicating with Berlin regarding the disposal of the prisoners.
