NEWTON KING'S HEI'OKT. At the Kayinarbet on Saturday there •was a fair entry of jpigs, but prices "were stall on the low side. Small weaners made 3s tkl to ss, good do. 5s Gd to Bs, small sfcore6 I4s to IDs, good do. 289 to 325; Shacks made £2 to £2 12s tkl. At Douglas "on Monday there was a fair yarding of cattle, and most linos sold readily at the hammer at slightly improved prices. Eighteen-months steers made 28a to 435, heifers in calf £2 8s to £2 13e, fat heifers £3 lis to £3 lCs, stole cows £1 12s 6d to £2 4s- (kl, forward cows £2 12s to £2 18s Gd. fat cows £3 feto £4 3s, staags £2 16s, bulls £1 11)9, f.m. ewes 4s 2d, old do. Is 2d to 2s 7d, fat do. 8s 6d, (lambs 3s 6d to 3s 9d. "At Stratford on Tuesday there was only a small yarding of cattle. Weaners made 6s to 12s <ld, 18-months steem 32s to 41s, 2%-year steers £2 18s 6d, heifers in calf (t*mall) £1 13s, store cows 23s to 35s tidi, forward do. £2 lis to £3 Is, fait do. £3 6s to £4 8», bulks £1 7s 6i to £2 19s, f.m. ewes 4s 6d to 6s 6d, fat do. Os. VICKERS & STEVENS' REPORT. There was a fair muster of cattle in our Inglewood yards on Wednesday. Prices have not improved, but nearly everything was sold a* follows:—Mixed calves 10s to 13s (id, uteersi 17s. empty heifers £1 3s to CI Bs. heifers in calf £2 to £2 13s, store cows Cl 10s to £2 6s, springers £3 12* to £5. ADDIXCITOX STOCK SALES. At the AddinglOn yards on Wednesday lambs ranged l from 8s !)d to 10s (id. Two-toot'hs of good cla*s realised 14s Gd to 15s 6d, medium 13s Gd to 14s. and 4, '6. and 8-tooth sort!?, aMo of good quality, made 13s 3d to 1-te (Jd. Good forward wethers brought 9s 6d to 10s (Id, 'and low-conditioned sorts 7s ikl to 9s. There were 281 head of fat cattle yarded, the greater portion of which i were good useful animals. For ehopipcrs there was I little enquiry, and prims Tanged to £3. | Baconera, for which there : was fair demand, ranged from 50s to 60s for heavy. and'4sa to 40s for smaller, equal to 4'/id per lb. Heavy porkers made 38s to 445, lighter 32s to 365, equal to 5%d to Gd <\w.T lb. For all classes of stores the demand was weak, and larger sorts made 30s to 38s. medium 22« to 28s. Weaners brought Ss to 15e. BURNSIDE MARKET. At Hurnside stock market 3476 sheep were yiarded, an especially large yarding. Prices dropped by Is to'ls 6d per head. Prime wethers 18s Gd to 20s. medium to good l 12s' 6d to 14s Gd, light and inferior 10* Gd to 12s, best ewes up to 18s 3d, medium up to 15e, light and inferior 10s 6d to 12s Gd. Lambs—23oo yarded, a big yarding. Up to 2.30 p.m. the best lambs sold had brought only 16s. Pigs—A good yarding of fat pigs especially. Suckers sold up to lis, slips 18s to 23s fid, R'torcft 355, baconers up to £3, choppers up to £2 10s. Cattle £8 5s to £O, extra to £lO, medium £7 to £B, light £5 10s to £6 10s,
