At the Canterbury College Amateur Athletic Club's sport'this afteroon, Guy Raskins, from -scratch 1 , established, a New Zealand record in the lOOOyck Tnter-club Handicap, lito time being 2min 24 ]-ss<y>„ which is one-fifth of a second better than the record of ISOO.

Webster; number steward, Mr.M). Wvit; marksmen: Messrs S. Brookes. A. li.Bullot, W. Lints. W. Sadler. .1. Way. .Inn. Clarke, and .T. A. Clarke: timekeepers: Messrs. -f. Bennett and W. liolx-rls; lap steward: Jlr, G. Griffiths; Highland and field event steward. Jlr. -I. Clarke: starter: Jlr. E. Humphries, assistant starter. Jlr. If. H. Ford; referees and protest committee: Messrs Elliott. ,T. Clarke and E.
