The work of removing the stranded wreck of the Hawea, which (says the Wcstport Times) has been carried out for some time past, has- now been completed as far as the Union Company are concerned. It is expected that the first heavy sea on the bar will have the effect of removing all traces of the vessel. From Onehunga yesterday morning the Karawa brought 100 tons of cargo. This included 41 tons of cement, 765 bags of sugar, 80 sacks of flour, 50 sacks of bran, and 197 boxes of fruit.
