LONDON DAIRY PRODUCE REPORT. -Messrs. K. Grilfilhs and Co. are in receipt of the following market report from their London principals, .Messrs. .Mills and Sparrow, dated February 12th: Butter. Danish.—No change in the iiuutafions, hut trade in the North is not quite so brisk. Siberian.—There has been no arrival this week, but a boat is due to-morrow. Very few freshly made are being shipped, the hulk of' the arrivals being butter which has been stored in Russia. The pick of these are selling fairly well. French.—Prices are unchanged on this side, hut, owing to the approach of Lenl, 1 prices in lirittnnv have advanced. The demand here is slow, Australian.—Quality of the.s.s. Omrah shipment shows a marked falling-oil', and i)uite a few factories which are generally classed as •' finest" cannot be put in this category. Trade has not been, so good during the last few days as was anticipated, and a reduction of Is to 2s has to be made to effect sales, liiiyars are much more critical as to quality. New Zealand.—There is still part ol the" s.s. Ruapehu shipment on oiler at a slight reduction on last week, but most of the brands of repute are cleared, and I we have no doubt that the s.s. Waiwora's , cargo will clear promptly, although I prices may be a shilling or so below I those realised for that per the Kuapehu.
Cheese. There is quite a sharp demand for coloured New Zealand, which is well cleared at full rates. White is not in such good demand, and in some cases a little less than quotation is taken to clear.
