VOLUNTEERS v. RIFLE CLUBS. The Elthain Rifles have all arrangcm 'iits well in hand for the match to be lired on the local range on Wednesday next lietwcen the Taranaki Battalion iinil the Kiile Clubs of Hie province. Knur targets will he used, to enable the match to he completed in good time. Captain Chirk, of the Eltham Rifles, has lieen appointed range ollieer and Biilcliniii Belts, of Kapunga, trench officer for the day. This the third match lietwcen the volunteers and clubs, the volunteers having won liotli the previous matches. Teams of '2O men a-side. seven shots each at '2OO. 500 and (iOOyds, The following wil represent the Volunteers:— Lieut." Itoon, Scrgl. Oliver, Corps.
