TUKAPA CLUB. There was a fair attendance of membcr* at the Town Hull last night for the annual meeting of the Tukupa, Clnh. In the absence of I)r. Eookes, president, Mr. .1. Ilobbs was voted to the chair. REI'ORT AND BALANCE-SHEET'. The report congratulated the seniors . in winning the Dan UTlrien shield- and the northern championship, and the first juniors on, winning the provincial championship. The thanks of the club were extended to lihe Kim Oru Club, Napier, for the manner in which they had entertained the juniors when on tour. The third fifteen were not so successful, having too much travelling for » second fifteen. The committee, recommended that the thirds, should have half their travelling expenses paid. The committee also recommended that the delegate should support a motion to have the boundaries altered to include Eltham second juniors in the southern division. Attention was drawn to the fact that members' subscriptions were not paid so well us should be the case. The chili's share of' insurance of players and travelling expenses has also been unduly heavy, nurd the committee expressed a hope that players would endeavor to pay their travelling expenses i-a future. Regret was expressed that the club lost the services of some of the most prominent players, no less than six having gone over to prolcssionalisin. The thanks of the club were extended to the Referees' Association, the ladies, the outgoing officers, the Press, and all who hud assisted towards the success of the season.. The balancesheet showed a turnover of ClO4 10s Id, and u. credit balance of CO 17s 2d.

It was decided to send a letter to Mr. .lolin, ,Stapleton. impressing the cluh's sympathy, and wishing him a speedy recovery.
The action of Mr. Webster in completing arrangement* on behalf n't the first juniors lo meet the Kia Ora's, from Napier, on Easter Saturday was confirmed. The letter from the Referees' Association with regard to the fees for rofereeing at matches by home referees was considered and agreed to. with the exception that not more than. 10s be paid' by a club playing two matches on the one ground on the same afternoon. The matter of insurance was left with each team, the club to pay half provided plavers first paid their share. It was decided to pay half the travelling expenses of the second juniors provided all paid their subscriptions. Votes of thanks were passed to the chairman, the ladies, the Press, and outgoing officers,
