Handicapper of trot reserves the right to rehandicap any horse. The winner of any flat race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101b, of two or more such races 141b; horses handicapped at Bst 71b or over to carry half the above penalties; minimum weight for Flying and Manaia Handicaps 7st, and in the Kaupokoniii and Motumatc 7st 71b. All entries to lie scaled and addressed to the Secretary, Manaia, with the name, age, color, and pedigree of the horse, name of owner, colors of the rider performances of the horse, and name of the trainer. Entries by wire must be confirmed at the earliest opportunity in writing. All races to bo run under the rules of racing as adopted b; - the; conference of New Zealand, and tho trotting event under the rules of tho New Zcalantf Trotting Association. Owners are particularly reminded that all entries must lie accompanied by cash, clienue, or P.O. order. This rule will lie strictly enforced. Only members of the Bookmakers' Association or Tattersall's will be permitted to ply their calling on the course on the day of the races, and they win bo charged a tee of FIVE GUINEAS for this privilege.
