A few unimportant increases are made for revenue pnrposes. Manufactured articles of llax, hemp, and jute are generally reduced per cent. Newspaper printing paper and hides are largely reduced, wood-pulp being made free. Iron and steel imports arc reduced 30 to 30 per cent., while the wool and woollen -schedule is practically untouched. The Bill provides for reciprocal free trade with the Phillipines with certain limits, .sugar and tobacco arc imported duty free.
