Mr. CLEMENT L. WRAGGE. To-day heralds the approach of an event oi' unique interest to the natuveloving and scientifically-inclined people of New Plymouth, for on Friday next Mr Clement L. Wragge. that eminent scientist and past-master in the platform speaker's art, opens his season here in the Theatre Royal. Since his last visit to tins country, Mr. Wragge Has been touring the world, and has given his entertainments in nearly every pavt of the civilised globe. Besides acquiring a vast quantity of scientific pictures and photographs of the heavenly bodies he has also been successful in obtaining specimens of that most marvellous discovery of modem science, radium, and during his Xew Plymouth season the public will have opportunities of viewing this wonder and observing the marvellous scintillations of the Alpha particles and the intense penetrative properties of the Gamma rays. Popular prices are advertised, and seats may be reserved at the Collier and Colonial Piauo Company's. Dates for this district will be found in our advertising columns.
