A Berlin telegram received by Itcuter states that in response to the Governor of Samoa three warships of the China station, under the command of KcurAdmiral Carper, aboard the cruiser Leipzig, is now due at Apia. The gunboats Jaguar and Arkoma are following. The telegram add<s that hi connection with the succession of Malaia there is some opposition to German supremacy, organised by the chief Lanaki, who refuses to obey the Governor. It is hoped the presence of warships will suffice to censure and punish the ringleaders and prevent bloodshed.
