(From Our Own Correspondent.) The ordinary monthly meeting wa« n lield at liahotu on Wednesday. Present: Messrs. J. Youngs (chairman), 11. Deegan, T. Harvey, CI. P. Jones, (J. Tylee and R. Warner. ftorse.—Bciolveil, that Mr. Ayhvanl ibe requested to clear the gorse opposite ■ his property within two months. ■Warea bridge.—Mr Jones was empoivered to see Mcssra Dueker Bros, about f sonic timber for re-decking the v A notice is to be placed on the bridge • • stating it is unsafe for heavy traffic (n-.i a* 1 load to' exceed one ton). . ■ Arawhata. road.—Resolved, that 40yds - ■ of metalling De done to connect two s-. pieces of work. (Warner—Deegan). Loans.—The Treasury Department notified the Board that £3OO for the Puni. lio joint loan and £6OO lor the Newall road was availahJe. Footpath for Rahotu.—Messrs T. v Smith and P. West waited on the Board. ; asking for assistance to have footpath < —-{armed through the township.—The chairman pointed out that the road was controlled by the .County Council, and lie did not think the Board could legally £ vote money for the purpose. Upper Parihaka. road,—Mr. Tylce was r, (etaponjered to let work on the road to £ v . the extent of £B. (clearing, etc.) Kaweora road.—G.
