Sulphurous dust has fallen, covering the ground in a thin coating to a depth of oue-sixteenth of an inch. Taihape, Tuesday. The eil'ectts of the eruption at Ngaiu'uhoe are very evident here. The town is enveloped in clouds of dust, and the tops of the hills are obscured. Great ineonvenienee is being .suffered to «yei and throat by the dust floating like fog over the district.
