By Telegraph,—Presa Association, Auckland, -Monday, The Aeon Salvage Syndicate lias' received cable advice thai a schooner has cleared Honolulu for Christmas Island, the objective o't tin; expedition recently despatched from Auckland. H wus stated that Honolulu residents had formed a company to visit the Aeon. They were anticipated by the action of the Auckland syndicate'. The laller communicated with the British Consul at Honolulu asking that the interests of the syndicate bo protected. The following reply was received v'n Sydney:--''Tl.M.<\ Cambrian arrives at Vanning Island on Saturday. fiovernor iiawson has cabled to the Cambrian olli'cew to watch tlie, syndicate's property."
