Supreme Court to-day, before Mr. Justice Edwards, Patrick Morris, for burglary, was convicted and sentenced to three years' impriisonment. Judgment was given for £!)(! 13s 3d on a counter claim for £451) 8s lOd. None of the items were held proved, save one. 1). 11. Baird claimed a sum lor indemnity on account of plaintiff having compromised this action by settling with one of defendant's contractors, anil on this item judgment was reserved.
