The frozen 'lueiit tradu associations report that 'the following are tlic Sini thifield market quotations for the undermentioned classes of frozen meats, based on actual sales of not less than IUU carcases of mutton or lamb, or 25 quarters of beef of fair average quality. These quotations arc not for selected lines, but for parcels fairly representative of the shipments now oil the market..
New Zealand sheep—Crossbred wethers and' maiden e'wes: Canterbury light, 48 to GGlbs, 3%d; medium, 50 to fil lbs, 3>/ s (l; heavy, (U to 721bs, 3%d. Southland, 50 to G4lbs, 3 5-lGd; North Island, 55 to Gslbs, 3>/ 8 d; best brands, 13 o-lfid.
Beef—New Zealand beef: Ox fores, 180 to 2201b5. 2%d; ox hinds, 180 to 2201b5, 3%d. Australian sheep—Heavy 2'/ s d, light 2»/„d. uambs: Best brands 4'/ s d, fair quality 3%d, inferior quality 3 5-10. Australian beef, unchanged.
River Plate sheep—Heavy 2.% d, light 3d, lambs unchanged. Hemp—nemp is quiet. The MarchMay shipments are quoted lit JC23 13s. Copra—Dull; South Sea CI7 las. Copper—On .spot .CSU, three months .CSG His 3d, electrolytic £SB 10s.
Tin—On spot £129 15s. three months £l3l 7s Gd. Lead, £.13 10s.
AVheat—Cargoes of Australian sold at prices ranging from 39s to 40s.
Rabbits—Rabbits are linn and unchanged. There is a good demand owing to shortage. Leather—A small business is being done. English leather: First Wellington dressing 4%d; basils steady and unchanged.
Rabbit-skins—At the rabbit-skins auctions 1470 bales were offered and 1200 sold. Light summer declined a prany to two pence.

The supply exceeds the demand. The weather lately is very unfavorable to the sale of lamb. This season's Canterbury is quoted at s>/id; other than Canterbury s>/ s d; Australian 4d; Argentine 3%d. Beef—The market is weak owing to there being a less demand. The -supplies of River Plate beef arc heavy. (Current quotations are: New Zealand hindquarters '|3'/ B d,, ofrequarters 2%d. Danish beef is selling at a low price, down to 3'/,.d. Butter—The market is dull on account of heavy arrivals. Choicest New Zealand butter is quoted at 100s, Danish 115s, Australian 103s. Argentine 104s, and Siberian 102s per ewt. Cheese—The market is quiet, but holders are firm. There is no change in the price. lledup—The market continues dull. Current quotations: Good lair grade on spot £24, fair grade on spot £22 ss, fair current Manila on spot £23 10s, March shipments good fair grade. £23 10s, fair grade £22, fair current Manila £22 ss. Last week's Manila output amounted to 28,000 bales. Wheat—The market is active, with a good demand. Nominal quotations are: New Zealand long-berried wheat, on spot ex granary per quarter of 4%lbp, J3Bs Gd; short-berried 'wheat on the spot ex granary per quarter of 4!)Glbs, 3Gs (id. , Oats—The market is quiet, but firm. Now Zealand sparrowbill oats, ex granarv, on -spot, per quarter of 3841b5, 245; New Zealand Danish oats, ex granary on . spot, per quarter of 3201b5, lGs' (id. ■Beans—The market is firm, and the demand only moderate. New Zealand beans f.a.q. (old eilop) per 50411>5, 2'.is. Peas—The market is firm with a small supply. Partridge peas per s<Hlbs, 425. Wool—The market is strong and all stocks are advancing. Hops—The market is very quiet. Cocksfoot seed—The market is flat; nothing doing.
