THE FRENCH TARIFF.
Received 21, 11 p.ui. London. February 24. The Frincli Aiulj.ii4.nlai' in England, in a letter to 31. Piehou, declared Mint French merchants in London were greatly alarmed at the mere announcement that the French diatoms tariff was about to be revised. He emphasised the suggestion made that the British Government impose heavy duties in French products, especially French wines. M. Piehou read this letter before the Customs Committee yesterday.
