TARAVAia RIFLE ASSOCIATION. AXOTAL SHOOTING COMPETITIONS The entries received for Hie annual vide meeting to be held l).v the Taranaki Rifle Association to-day and to-morrow on the Rewa Rewa rifle range, are larger t-JiaTi those received at any previous meeting, and, as will be seen from the figures given below, are fairly representatives of the Taranaki province. There is only one competitor from outside the district. The Taranaki Guards lead with 14 entries, and the Taranaki Uifleß are second with 12. Other shootin" writs are represented as follows: Rahotn Rifle Club, 0; Strat'rord Rifle Club, C: Inglewood Rifles. 3; Eltham Rifles .1; Awakino Ride Club, 2; Veterans, 2- Waitara Rifle, 2; Kapongn Rifle Club, 2; JTawera Rifles, 2; Tanki Rifle Club. I; and the Opunakc Mounted Rifles, Hniroa Rifle Club, Kaitalio (Oaluira) Rifle Club, and Auckland Mounted Rifles, one entry eaeli. The 'bus leaves town for fhe range at 7 o'clock a.m. sharp. Competitors j are asked to note that the word "sharp 'is to be enforced. To-night the annual meeting of the Rifle Association is to be lield in the Drill Hall.
