Bv Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, Tuesday. A twelve-roomed house used a* nn adjunct to the Gladstone boardinghouse, and owned by J. Townlej an occupied by C. Ferguson, was destrojea by fire at 4.15 o'clock vcstcrday aftunoon. The building was insured foi £4OO and the contents for £'2oo. Ihe boarders lost heavily. Nelson, Tueadaj. A Price's sawmill at Belgrove was destroyed by fire, only the engine> being saved. The loss was heavy. rhere aie no details of insurance.
