ONEHUNGA-NEW PLYMOUTH SERVICE.

It is understood that in consequence of the improved conditions for carrying passengers and mails on the Main Trunk Kailway, the Union and Northern Steamship Companies contemplate considerable alteration 'in the running of their steamers between Oiiohmiga and New Plymouth. The usual Sunday mail for the South by the Karawa amounted to IiOO hags and hampers; yesterday the Hnrawu took only ten bags ami 23 hampers.
