CYCLONE IM NEW CALEDONIA

FURTHER DETAILS. Syduey, February 22. The members of the crew of the barque Jolictte, which was wrecked at Now Caledonia during a cyclone, have arrived. The details show that the barque was lying at the wharf. Before the storm began she was pulled out, but drilled back and bumped until she was stove in and foundered, also seriously damaging the wharf. The crew after remaining for hours on the rig«ing clambered on to the wharf. The small steamer Poro was totally wrecked, but the crew was saved. The schooner Gabriclle, with about a dozen passengers, is iciißsing. It « thought that she is lost. Several other vessels were damaged and an immense tract of country devastated.
