A BANKRUPT STOCK DESTROYED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, Wednesday. A fire early this morning partly destroyed a (bankrupt stock, recently purchased by MeFai'hnie anil Co., in premise-; lately occupied liy Lindsay, a draper. The origin of the out break if a mystery. There was an insurance on the slock of .£40(1 in the Australia:] Allianee and i'UKI in the Guardian. A HASTINGS FIliK. Hastings, Wednesday. A lire last night, destroyed a sixloomed house owned by ,1. G. Hill and occupied by Mrs. H. Christian. The insurance on the building amounts to CIOO and 011 the furniture to £101). It is stated that the furniture was removed from the house yesterday. The origin of tile fire is a mystery, .No one was in the house when the fire started. AERATED .WATER FACTORY DESTROYED. Auckland, Wednesday. A fire at Komata destroyed Wilson's store, aerated water factory and house. There is an insurance of £OOO in the Royal office. The damage is estimated at £IOOO.
