LAND FOR EX-SOLDIERS
A CANADIAN PETITION. i Received 15, 10.15 p.m. Ottawa, February 15. Three thousand one hundred and fifly South African veterans fn Canada have petitioned for grants of 320 acres apiece, undertaking in return for the land to form a Canadian reserve and serve ten years. Sir Frederick Jlorden, Minister for Defence, is impressed with the idea.
