A STRIKE SETTLED. Melbourne, February 13. I The ironmongers' strike has ended, the men agreeing to the Premier's proposal to appoint a Wages Board. AUSTRALIAN NAVAL CONSTRUCTION. Melbourne, February 13. A deputation representing the Boilermakers' and Shipbuiluers' Vavm waited on the Minister for Defence and urged that local firms should have a chance oi tendering for the construction of destroyers.
