ASIATIC RESTRICTION. Received 12, 9,25 p.m. San Francisco, February 12. Mr. Cillett, Governor of California, iiauouiices that if the projected census of the Japanese people m California shows any necessity, Congress will be urged to enact the exclusion of Asia■tics. President Roosevelt, in a telegram to Mr. Cillett, congratulated nil who aided 'in kill, the Japanese School Children 'Mill, and adds that the way In which 'California had done the right thing by the nation made it all the more obligatory on the part of the nation to safeguard California's interests. He •personally would do his utmost to this end.
