WANGANUI RAM FAIR. \ \ By Telegraph—Press Association. x , Wanganui, Last Night. The first day of the Wanganui ram fair was hejd at Messrs. FrccmaH hJackson and Co.'s yards to-day. Thwe was a good sale for Lincoln studs, trte top prices being 48% guineas for one of Mr. W. H. Wybournc's breed, ami 41% guineas for a ram of Mr. Perry's. Border Leicesters and Soutlidowns mot with a spirited sale, and all lines of these breeds were sold under the hammer. Southdowns making to nine guineas. For flock Liucolns there was wry littlecompetition, the bulk of the business being done privately. The highest price for Lincoln docks was £4 17s Od. Rom-, neys made from V/ 2 to 3 guineas.
