Osborne said the congregation was about, to lose one of its best workers, one. who was not afraid of work, and who set a Rood example in regular at tendance; and now. oa the eve of her approaching marriage and subsequent departure for the South Island, he had pleasure in presenting her with a token of the respect and esteem in which she was held bv the congregation. Mr. Osborne then handed her n handsome gipsy-kettle and n morocco handLa..'. Upon one side of the kettle was "inscribed: -Presented Co Miss Ileal hv the choir and congregation of SI. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, New PLmouth, ]l/2/u!>." and the other side bore Miss Tieal's monogram. Mr. N. K, MacDiarmiil and Mr. li. W. Sineluir endorsed what had been said bv the minister, and wished Miss Ileal' long life. Ihealtli, and happiness in her new sphere. 'Mr. V. 11.
