THE ANTI-ASIATIC CRUSADE. OTHER STATES JOINING CALIFORNIA. GOVERNMENT SERIOUSLY CONCERNED. JAPANESE RESENTMENT. Received February 8, 10 p.m. London, February 8. The Times' New York correspondent Teports that the Government at Washington is seriously concerned over the situation on the Pacific Coast, as other States are joining California in the antiAsiatic crusade. It is feared that unless the National Legislature earnestly deals with Asiatic immigration, the State Legislatures will continue their irritating tactics and arouse Japanese resentSment. It is believed that Japan has notified America that the school segregation legislation is the most offensive of all the proposed measures, j ACTION POSTPONED. j Received February 8, 11.30 p.m. San Francisco, February 8. The Californian House of Representatives has postponed action in regard to the Bill relating to Japanese school children.
