Being unable to work Waitara yesterday the Waitangi, from Kawhia and Kaglan, came on to the breakwater and discharged 27 boxes of butter. She will attempt to work Waitara by this morning's tide. 1 The New Zealand and African S.S. Co. a Cornwall (Capt. Howell) arrived off Waitara on Wednesday morning. «nd, with perfect weather, completed her loading yesterday afternoon, when »he left for Wellington, with a full fcargo—99 casks tallow, 2014 quarters beef, 3308 carcases lamb, and 182 earpases mutton.
' The Takapuna, on hor trip to Wellington to-<lay, will take about 1500 packages of transhipment to the fapanuf. TBeTTalance, about 1200 packages, for the same vessel, will be taken South on Tuesday by the Eotoiti. The Corinna sailed for Onehunga-last night, where she will load 13,500 boxes of butter and 350 cases of cheese for transhipment to the Papauni at Wellington. She here on Silnday light and on Mondnv will load a tout. 41,000 boxes of butter, leaving for Wellington again on Monday afternoon. The Barawa brought 89 tons of cargo from Onehunga yesterday morning. ITliis included 62C cases of fruit and 120 sacks of coal. The Corinna brought 500 tons of cargo from southern ports yesterday morning. This included transhipments ex Otaki and lonie from London. Uliroaroa from Sydney, and Mamnra from Melbourne and Hobart. Included in the cargo were 1858 sacks of oats, 14.1 sacks of oatmeal, 138 sacks of wheat. rtl2 packs of cement, 55 cases of soap, 60 cases of matches, 120 sacks of chair, and a quantity of flour.
The Mnna is still ashore at Pa tea, although she does not seem to be in any great danger at present. The only thing Iwhich might cause her damage is a Strong southerly gale, and there <lo:-s not seem to be much likelihood of tint happening.
