There was an excellent attendance at I the beautiful grounds of Mr. Sole at | "Aolea" yesterday afternoon, when the choir of St. Mary's Church held their garden party. Stratford's annual outing, which takes the form of a. visit to Now Plymouth harbor, was favored with beautiful weather yesterday 1 ? and as a consequence the nll'air was a great success. It is estimated that over 2000 made the trip, the great majority of whom proceeded to the port, where they spent a most pleasurable time in seeing "the sights" bathing in the water, tripping in the Takapuna, and general •■picnicking.''
