A VALUABLE CARGO.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. 1 Auckland, liist Night. ! 1 lit Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's steamer Uiingatini, which sailed for Lmulon this morning, is stated to have created a record for the port of Auckland by loading the whole of her cargo, with the exception of one line, at this port. The steamer's freighting is a valuablo one. The local agents, Messrs. A. S. Paterson and Co., place a conservative estimate on the total lines of £250,000. There is a shipment of bullion alone worth £40,000. The; consignments of kauri ffum total £%.- 000 in value, the wool another £20,000,, while the copra is valued at another ■ €14,000. "The principal lines were: Bullion valued at £40,000, wool 1770 bales, kauri gum r>2*2'.i cases and 1034 sacks, copra 1509 sacks, timber 183,000 feet, and frozen lambs 14,505 carcases. The vessel lias also 20,00 carcases of mutton •hipped at Oisborne.
