A young married woman, living*apart from her husband, named Nelly Atinchin or Burnip, formerly employed'a> a barmaid, but latterly living alone and performing secretarial duties, ctiiumiMed suicido last night by shooting herself. An inquest wan held to-day into the cireunistances of the death of a young married woman named Ellen Longdon Minehin, living apart from her lin-haml, who shot herself last night. The evidence showed that deceased had complained of headaches for some time, and last evening had with her sister and child gone for a motor drive with \V. A. Smith, city engineer, returning between 10 and 11 o'clock. Site immediately went to bed, and shot herself with: a revolver a few minute-' later. .Mr. 1 Smith said he employed deceased as a sort of private secretary mi work of a private 'nature. Shots were lired as he was leaving the house. He knew of no reason fur the a':t. The jury found that deceased shot nei>el! during a lit of impulsive, insanity.

At an inquest on Mrs. Laura Christie's death, the evidence showed that she was an himate of an unlicensed prit vate nursing home. A nurse left her for e two or three minutes, and when the > s nin'M» returned 'Mrs, Christie was missct ing, and she was subsequently found in a creek, lace downward. She was alive. Id but expired soon afterward*. The Corin oner, in returning a verdict that deceased drowned herself while in a state V of unsound mind, stated that he would make a strong recommendation to the )f ({overnuicnt to enforce strict supervision of of unlicensed nursing homes.

A CHINAMAN'S SUICIDE. Marton, February 2. A Chinaman •named Kong How hanged himself in an orchard near here, and remained suspended for a fortnight before discovered. Deceased only arrived live imonths ago. He left a letter addressed to his father at Pa tea saying that he troubled everybody and felt too ashamed.
