The next conference will ho held at XcVport (Mon.). At the conference at Portsmouth a ; small majority resolved in favor of socialistic means of production and distribution, and complete emancipation of labor from the domination of capitalism ami landlordism. It was also resolved bv a large majority to favor the abolition of the half-time system and raising the school age to Hi, and instituting secular education. The conference largely rejected a motion providing for thu maintenance of school children, but agreed on tho "necessity of nodical inspection and the compulsory feeding of i school children.
