The meeting was not open to the Press, but infovmation was given that after a lengthy discussion the following resolutions were carried unanimously: -(1) That the Miners' Federation ICxeciitive he asked to meet the ollicers of Westport Coal Company nnd try to get the company to do away with the medical examination, anil, failing their complying with the rcipiest, that the Federation lie asked to arrange to get legislation passed doing away with the examination; (:!) that the (Iranily and Deuniston .Medical Association be requested to have the examination discontinued; CD that ihc II"' Messrs. Coliin and Oregau. be thanked Tor their services on behalf of the miners.
