The march of the motor car is ever onward, the latest evidence of it> usefulness being seen about town yesterday in the shape of a commodious covorcdiu delivery car belonging to Mr. F. J. ■Hill, grocer, of South Road. The car, a useful Hl-12-h.p. one, is of neat design, send should soon prove a profitable investment to the. owner. At a meeting of the Equitable Building Societv last niglil appropriations were balloted for, and secured as follows:—First group. Mr. 11. J. (Jilbcrc: second group. -Mr. Win. Hood, of Ing'.c■wood. At a sale subsequently an appropriation was disposed of at C3l (or ICi'd for WOO), and in the second group .CM 15s for .11150.
. A ladv cvclist, in low of a motor cvclist tried to disturb the placidity of Devon street, near the East End Meat Bazaar, last evening. Evidently finding the pace too great, the lady, who was supporting herself against the gentleman rilling the motor, tried to let go, nail capsized, striking the ground heavily. Excepting a severe shaking, .silo was otherwise unhurt.
