LARUE SUM SjOLIvS. Bv Telegraph.—Press Association. Uhristcluu'ch, Last Night. A sensational robbery tool; place at the Theatre Royal some time this afternoon. Il appears that Mr. Duncan, Mr. Bland Holt's treasurer, locked the oHicc at the theatre about t p.m., leaving locked in a wooden box the sum of c:i2o hi gold and notes, inl led for the pavnient of salaries. On returning to Hie' ollice at 7 p.m., Mr. Duncan found the padlock with which the boxhad been locked lying on the lloor and the box empty. A door leading from the vestibule to Hie oiilce had been forced open bv the thief. The matter is being investigated by the police, hutso far no trace of the thief or money lias been found.
