Speaking to an Auckland Herald representative, Air. 1). Cudrlic, Dairy Commissioner, who is at present in Auckland, remarked that this had been a splendid season all over the Dominion for the dairying industry, and while Auckland was putting up records in butter exports, other portions of New Zealand were eclipsing their previous outputs of cheese. The dairying industry had made wonderful strides in Auckland in the past four years, and it had by no means reached anything near its maximum; lie. looked for greater and greater increases of exports in future. Speaking generally, the dairy industry ill the Dominion bad attained a very high standard. There was, of course, always room for improvement in everything, but New Zealand had every reason to be proud of the standard of quality that had been attained.
