On Tuesday afternoon Mr.. T. M. | Stephens, a Carringum ltuaili farin.;r, formerly j»\>pi'iutor of the Caledonian Surgeries, was admitted to the local hospital suH'cring from injuries inflicted hv ,i bull on his farm. It appears that .Mr. Stephens Has driving' ill some cows, w»th a hull amongst them. The cows got a little i:i advaii.-o i.-i tlic hull, which turned on .Mr. Stephens at elose quarters, lie was totally unprepared fur lUe altaeli. lint managed to gel out of the. way, hut not lielore he had hcen chained several times, suffering severe laceration ami bruising. Drs. Walker and Wylic were soon on the ground, and ordircd the removal of the injured man i ei> the hospital. Upon eni|iiiry at a late hour last night we learned that Mr. Stephens' condition was very satisfactory so far, no untoward symptoms having- developed. The hull nas heen destroyed.
