JAPANESE CONI'IDENTE. London, January 211. Renter's correspondent reports that tho Katoura Diet has justified the reductions of armaments. Count Koniura, Minister for foreign All'airs for Japan, expressed his conlidenee in Washington's sincerity when it said it did not believe that the proposed land legislation in California would in any way alfect the relations between the two countries.
