Christchurch, Last Night. The body of Henry Bennett, a farmer residing at the Styx, was to-dav found in a three-feet wide drain in which the water was about three feet deep. Tied by a piece of rope round his neck was mi old plougn share. Deceased left a note, stating that lie intended coinmil'ling suicide.
