<" DUXEDfN WOOL SALE. Ay Xelegrapb.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Xight. • The second wool sale of the seasoi • was held to-day, when catalogues totalling 20,3u'(i bales were offered. The -.total offerings in Dunedin so far.amount Ito 29,11(1, as compared with 22,448 bales at the corresponding stage of hist season. The increase was set down largely to disposition of growers to offer •their clips at local sales instead of shipping for London. To-day's catalogue was .« record for Dunedin. The attendance <of buyers was large and representative .of all the British, Continental and Amelrican centres, buyers from Xew, Zealand •mills, fellmongers and speculators from all parts of the Dominion. The present general quality of the clip was quite "equal to that of hist year. Bidding was animated throughout and growers appeared highly satislied with the prices. •A noticeable feature of (he sale was tiie ■ extreme prices paid for crossbred hogget wool.
