Atmore, a candidate lit the last election, of misleading tl>e Registrar »v signing an application for the enrolment of two .Mormon missionaries, not naturalised liritish subjects, the charge was dismissed, on the ground that one of them, Ahlrcd, had stated to Atmore that they were liritisli subjects, and consequently Atmore had acted in good faith. -Ilie prosecution against Aldrcd had already broken down on technical grounds.
