WEDDING.

tiDLDIXC-tIUILTOUD. The marriage of Mr. E. A. Golding to Miss M. 11. Guilford ~t the Queen Street Primitive Methodist Church on Thursday was witnessed ,hv a large concourse v ( pimple, the building being well lilled. Kacli of the contracting parties laid been connected with this church work, the bridegroom organist and the bride as a member of the choir, and as a tribute the church was prettily decorated, the work of Mrs. H. Ward and Misses A. and E. AVard.The bride 'was attired in cream net over merveilleux silk, with the orthodox veil and orange blossoms, and carried a shower bomruct. She was attended by the Misses Alice and Dot Guilford, dressed in conllower blue silk voile, trimmeid with lace and glace silk, with hats to match, and two little flower girls, Misses Myrtle Guilford and Evelyn Angus, neice and cousin of the bride respectively, who were dressed in white embroidery and pink hats and ribbons, and carried baskets of flowers. The .bridegroom was attended by his two cousins, Mr. H. Billing as 'hest man, and Mr. L. Billing as groomsman. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. W. Guilford. The service was 1 choral, '.Miss Ward presiding at the organ. The officiating minister was the Rev. J. Guy. At the conclusion of the | service the "Wedding, March" was played, and the young couple were liberally showered with rice ami confetti. A reception was held liv Mrs, Guilford at the Koreslers' Hall, „here a large number of guests sat down to a sumptuous wedding lirrakfast. Mr. u.ml Mrs. Golding left for the south by the afternoon train, many friends assembling at the station, to wish them lion voyage. The wedding presents- were very numerous, amongst them being an oak salad bowl from the Queen Street choir. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a gold heart pendant studded with moon stones, and the gifts to the bridesmaids were a gold brooch set with rubies and a gold .brooch, set with pearls. The little flower girls received n gold brooch' each. In the evening, at the Foresters' Hall, a social evening was spent by the friends of the parties.
