LONDON WOOL SALES. Received January 20, 10.25 p.m. London, January 20. In the brokers' joint catalogue 10,222 bales of wool appeared. There was an excellent selection, and a large attendance from all parts of the world. Merinos were very firm, producing prices occasionally in sellers' favour. Shabby cross-breds brought 5 per cent, above the prices obtained at the December sale. Choice sorts, suitable for America, realised 7% to 10-per cent, above December sales.
