REOKsUXJSINC. THE GENDARMERIE. Constantinople, January 13. The Porte proposes to employ British, French and Italian gendarmerie. ■officers. Macedonia is reorganising the gendarmerie in other vilayets.
LYNCHERS SENTENCED. i- Received 17, 4.30 p.m. Constantinople, January 10. The Criminnl Court nt Constantinople imposed sentences varying from five to fifteen, years upon the authors of the lynching of an Ottoman Greek and a Turkish woman on the 15th October.
