WAITARA, During last year the Stipendiary .Magistrate at W'aitara dealt" with 170 plaints issued by the local Clerk of the Omul, the amount sued for being £2335 lis 10,1, while 123 cases came before ( the Court, the amount of £lOsl lis Od j being recovered. The number of criminal eases wa< 72, of which 03 were convictions. Drunkenness and prohibition orders accounted for 20 of the convictions.
