SHOOTING.

The annual shoot between the strongest shooting company of the No. 2 (Wanganui Rides) and No. 4 (Taranaki Guards) of the Wellington Guards, will ' take place at the New Plymouth range on Tuesday morning next. The trams will comprise 20 men aside. The following will represent the Taranaki Guards:—Captain Mills, Lieut. Boon. Lieut. Beadle, Col.-Sergt. Hartnell, Sergt. Olliver, Sergt. Evans, Sergt. Lewis, Sergt. Arnold, Corp. Bent, Corp. Lobb, Privates Hill, Nicholls, Bruce, King, .Riddles, Blanchard, Bocock, Crockett, Goodacre, Kurta. Emergency: Private Rogers. / Two matches have already been fired, . Taranaki Guards winning the first at Hawera. The second match took place at Wanganui last year and was won by the Wanganui Rifles.
